In 2024, Ponte Vedra lost over 50 mature oaks in a single storm—trees that once shaded playgrounds, sidewalks, and front lawns.
Plant 100 new native trees (oaks, magnolias, sabal palms) along public sidewalks and in neighborhood parks.
Engage local volunteers in monthly planting and care days.
Provide educational signage about the value of urban canopy and ecosystem services.
All donations are collected securely through GiveButter and directed to the project. Funds are used to cover materials, labor, equipment, and any community or educational resources needed to bring the project to life.
Any funds raised are still applied to the project. Depending on the total contributions, the project may be scaled, phased, or adjusted to fit available resources.
Community members can volunteer, attend project events, provide input on project design, or help spread the word locally. Opportunities vary by project and are detailed on each project page.
Each project has a local project manager who oversees planning and execution. Contact information is provided on the project page for questions or volunteering inquiries.
We are still working out the details. Stay tuned regarding future contributions. All donations are still fully applied to support the project through GiveButter.
