Our Story

We believe you know what's best for your neighborhood.

Community Stake was born from the belief that the people who live in a community should have the power to shape it. Too many local ideas stall out due to lack of funding, resources, or know-how. We’re here to change that.

Our Mission

To build stronger communities by transforming grassroots ideas into tangible civic improvements.

Our Vision

To become Florida’s most trusted partner for locally driven community projects.

“Real change begins when everyday people come together to improve the places they call home.”

Our Founder

Travis started his professional career in the field of “city planning” working in both private and public sector agencies. In 2013 he shifted his career to real estate leveraging the skills and knowledge acquired along the way to assist custom homebuilders and investors with land purchases. In addition to holding an active Florida Real Estate license, Travis possesses a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning, a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, and university certifications in Environmental Planning, Non-Profit Management, and Transportation and Logistics.

Throughout his career, Travis has pursued opportunities to unite diverse perspectives, fostering mutually beneficial results for everyone involved. He has found that success in this area depends on fully comprehending each party’s interests and perspectives, while urging them to engage in open and honest discussions of their goals. Rather than conforming to established norms, Travis consistently seeks to improve upon existing processes or innovate entire new solutions when needed to bring parties together and foster collaboration. It is in the spirit of creating “win-wins” that Community Stake was founded.
